My Story
For over 10 years I have worked with dogs in various capacities and my love for them continues to grow. I am extremely fortunate that not only are they my hobby but also my livelihood.
Besides years of experience handling different breeds, these loyal and fascinating canine companions continue to inspire me to learn. I have accreditations with The Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training (CIDBT), the Guild of Dog Trainers, Master Professional Dog Training Instructor (MGoDT), and the Canine and Feline Behaviour Association (CFBA), all approved by the Pet Education Training Behaviour Council of Great Britain (PETbc). I am also a qualified UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze Scent Detection Instructor.
When I am not helping clients in the Warwickshire and Leicestershire regions, I enjoy spending time training my own dogs all over the country, often instructed or training alongside some of those at the very top of their game! I also enjoy competing in KC gundog working tests and working them in the field.
Training Ethos
I use positive reinforced based training techniques, in that I reward dogs for doing a good job.
I work closely with the owner to develop a clear picture of the dog’s history and background with a clear objective of ensuring the dog can live its best life.
I believe in a calm, relaxed and professional approach, maintaining clear communication, consistency, and fairness throughout the process, setting both the dog and handler up to succeed in achieving their goal.
