Puppy to Adult

Whatever the circumstances; a new puppy, an adult dog, pet gundog or a rescue, I will work with you both, to create a personalised training plan to suit your requirements. I offer 1-2-1 and small classes only, this enables me to stay completely focused on you and your dog.

Early Learning Puppy Course
£195

From the age of 8 weeks I offer support and practical advice to help you build a strong, healthy and balanced relationship with your new puppy. This is a course with a difference, teaching you the essential basics and laying solid foundations for future training. During the 4 weeks we will cover: 

​

  • Toilet, crate training and car travel

  • Play, focus, engagement, and clear communication

  • Socialisation and habituation

  • Problem solving

  • Self control and frustration tolerance

  • Settle and switch off

  • Feeding,nutrition and husbandry 

  • Confidence building and body awareness      

        

Providing remote support and essential information for reference from the very beginning, the outdoor sessions commence once your puppy is fully vaccinated. These are taught on a 1-2-1 or 'buddy up' basis, to ensure you receive a quality tailor made service during those crucial early week's of puppy's development.​

1-2-1 Sessions; Pet Gundog, Scent work, Obedience: Small Groups and Workshops
£25-45

To achieve the very best outcome, these sessions and workshops are only available to handlers following the early learning  puppy course or a behavioural consultation.

 

Sessions are fun, informative but informal, and tailored to meet the specific needs of both dog and handler.

 

1-2-1, small group sessions and workshops allow more time to explain why the individual dog does what it does and why we use the particular training methods we do, without experiencing the distractions which come when training in a large group.

This approach helps dog and handler to have a greater understanding of one another, the relationship will become more balanced, the bond will grow stronger and consequently the dog will be more responsive to the training.
